KDP Filler extension — privacy

Effective July 2026

The ebookdone KDP Filler extension pre-fills Amazon KDP's book-setup forms with the metadata of a book you created on ebookdone. It is a convenience tool: it never submits, saves, or publishes anything on KDP — you review every field and click Amazon's buttons yourself.

What it accesses

  • Your ebookdone account — using the session cookie already in your browser, it fetches your book list and the selected book's metadata (title, description, keywords, categories, reading age, pricing suggestions) from ebookdone.com. It cannot see your password; ebookdone doesn't use passwords.
  • KDP pages you're on — it reads and fills form fields on kdp.amazon.com title-setup pages when you click "Fill this KDP page". It does not read other pages or run in the background.

What it stores

Only the id of the last book you selected, in your browser's local extension storage, so the picker remembers your choice. Nothing else is stored.

What it sends

Nothing, to anyone. The extension makes requests only to ebookdone.com (your own book data) and fills forms locally in your browser. No analytics, no third-party services, no data collection.
